Additionally, she secured first prize at the Trinity Guildhall Music Competition in 2008.
At the age of 15, Jaz attained the Licentiate of Trinity College London (Level 6 Diploma) with high distinction. In 2012, she performed as part of a violin-cello duo in ChildAid, where former President Tony Tan was the guest of honour. ChildAid is an annual charity concert co-organized by The Straits Times and The Business Times, aimed at raising funds for underprivileged children and youth, specifically benefiting The Straits Times School Pocket Money Fund (ST SPMF) and The Business Times Budding Artists Fund (BT BAF). Additionally, Jaz appeared as a soloist with the Singapore Symphony Orchestra at an outdoor concert in 2008. Notably, she performed at a fundraising dinner where former Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong was the guest of honor.
Jaz served as concert mistress for several string ensembles and garnered island-wide attention in 2020 when she performed on the balcony of Shangri-La Rasa Sentosa, leading to features in The Straits Times and an interview with 938fm. This exposure culminated in her performance as a solo violinist at the National Day Parade 2020, where she was subsequently acknowledged by Minister Heng Swee Keat.
In addition to her violin talents, Jaz is also an accomplished vocalist and has sang in numerous fundraising events. She sang with the cast of ‘Big Girls Don’t Cry’ in 2024 as a special guest, where the British High Commissioner, H.E. Kara Owen CMG was the guest of honour. Beyond her musical pursuits, Jaz has a Bachelor of Dental Surgery and is currently practicing as a dentist.
