Zhon Hern

A classically trained multi-instrumentalist, Zhon Hern brings a wealth of experience and versatility to every performance. He has performed with the Braddell Heights Symphony Orchestra as a violist, The Chamber Orchestra as a violinist, and the Singapore Youth Orchestra as a cellist. More recently, he has served as Principal Violist for the Tanglin Symphony Orchestra.

An experienced gig musician, Zhon Hern has collaborated with artistes such as Julia Peng and has been featured in Esplanade’s Mosaic Music Festival. Beyond strings, he was also a prizewinner on piano at the National Piano & Violin Competition, and has served as keyboardist with the NUS Jazz Band and SAF Music & Drama Company amongst other groups. He holds LRSM and DipABRSM qualifications from the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music, UK.
